About Me.
Hello! My name is Jackson Graue, but please call me Jack. To become acquainted with my professional background, please read my resume here. I am pursuing a technical diploma in Paralegal Studies at Madison Area Technical College. In this degree program, I have learned several functions that are critical to being a legal professional. Take some time and review the examples of my work. If interested, please reach out at my Linkedin profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jackson-graue-70a532202/.
FBI v. .Fikre is a case centered on a citizen being placed on the ‘No Fly List’ for illegitimate reasons and taking action to rectify, what he alleged were, wrongs committed against him by the government. I wrote the brief below.
While becoming familiar with Lexis AI+, I wrote the below memo for my instructor. I will take this opportunity to note that I am proficient in writing memos and using LexisNexis and its’ AI functions
This memo was written to a hypothetical client explaining what they can expect from an interview relevant to their case.
This document began an exercise simulating two legal teams representing the plaintiff and defendant, respectfully, exchanging documents in a legal action. Brown v. Green was a hypothetical case about a widow pursuing damages for the death of her husband following a car crash.
A continuation of the same legal action above. These exercises provided great experience with the civil litigation.
A request of a local records custodian for documents needed in Brown v. Green.
In Brown, opposing council took too long to respond to our discovery request. At that point, the class drafted a Motion for Sanctions.
There was a second hypothetical case that the class worked with, Red v. Big Box Mart, Inc. In Red, there was about a former-employee who was suing Big Box Mart, Inc. for age discrimination.
The below is Big Box Mart’s Answer and Counterclaim to the Complaint that I received from my assigned group partner.
Finally, the below is a presentation I prepared on a fatal car crash. The prompt was to present evidence to a jury as if they are seeing it for the first time.
